Last weekend, we were finally able to leave a gymnastics meet able to talk about "hard work pays off" rather than "the important thing is that you tried your hardest."
Of course, this time both girls had spent hours and hours at the gym practicing and working out. Lizzie was especially focused and determined.
Anna competed for the first time and won the vault.
And Lizzie placed third on the floor and fourth on the beam. This was absolutely HUGE for her and it showed her what happens when you practice.
Anna has been waiting all year to compete, patiently watching all of Lizzie's meets and wishing that she could be down there sitting with the team. It was so fun to watch her.
