Pretty much the biggest day in our life

Yeah, pretty much, this is what parenthood is all about. You live for these major accomplishments in your children's lives. Major accomplishments like Kindergarten Graduation. We got a good chuckle when Lizzie brought home the announcement for the graduation ceremony, but little did we know how serious they were. It was fun to see the program and the kids put on a show of poem recitals and singing, with a resounding rendition of "First Grade, First Grade" (sung to New York, New York).

As you can tell from the middle picture, Lizzie is the shortest in the kindergarten by a full head. All her best friends are on the last two rows which makes the contrast even greater. Even Anna is starting to catch up to Lizzie. At least Daisy will still be smaller...for a while.
Doesn't Class of 2019 sound so far away??!

The graduation pics are the best. What is with the 6 year olds wearing heels? That is why Lizzie looks so short! We miss you guys. We hope that Annie can follow in Lizzie's footsteps someday.

Wow. What a day to graduate from kindergarten. I'm sure that 2019 will sneak up on all of us before we know it. Just so you know, I was always the smallest in my class too. When I sang in Grammy's show choir in 8th grade I had to stand on the front row, right in the middle. I think Jane Skankey was the only one smaller. Sometimes being the smallest lets you do things that other people can't do, like chase bunnies behind the bushes to catch them and squeeze your little arm into a tight hole to get a quarter. Don't grow up too fast Lizzie! We love you!!
