Just when it was starting to warm up, we are forced inside by another insidious natural element: cottonwood trees. This is our fourth summer here and I have never seen the cotton blow so thick and so quickly . This is what piled up in only about 7 hours of blowing.
At first I thought that we'd be unaffected by all this "snow," but an hour after returning home from the grocery store to a literal blizzard, I was leaving an emergency eye doctor appointment with some serious steroid eye drops for one eye. I'm kind of hoping that steroid eye drops will give me perfect, if not x-ray vision. Hopefully they won't just make my eyeball bulging and overdeveloped...
After that, I sent Lizzie out to take these pictures and I think she did a pretty good job. Yeah, Lizzie!

Crazy! At first I thought it was mold growing, but cotton is better by a mile! You know I love my claritin.
