WELL...
First we ate at Cafe Rio.
Really, first thing. We hadn't even been to the condo before we ordered pork tacos.

We loved meeting little Virginia, the happiest baby in the world.

We went swimming despite gale-force winds.

We taught Savannah how to dry off on warm cement. (We hope she won't try this at home in AZ; she could get seriously burned.)

Uncle Dave took the girls for a ride, "Free Willy" style.

Gramps bought ice cream and cones for all the grandkids.

We found the coolest park EVER. Kath and I just had to try out the swing.

Anna found a new hobby.

We got as close as we could to the red rocks.

Kelly got a beloved and much-missed maple bar... and brought home a doughnut-as-big-as-your-head.

We went to Fiesta Fun for Anna's birthday.

Of course, one cannot visit St. George without doing a little golfing.

Lucy found places to hide.

Gramps showed Anna his mad driving skills.

My parents read that fairy tales are one of the best teaching tools for kids. Daisy could have listened to Gramps read all day, but poor Savannah went without any naps or rest time all week and had had enough.

We went to the temple.

Lizzie whispered to me, "This would be a lot more exciting if it moved."

We hope that the memory of a desert sunrise will satiate our homesickness for a long time. We had forgotten how much we love Southern Utah and can't wait to go back!

Thank you, family, for surprising us by joining our little trip. We had the best time with you all, and can't wait until our next get-together.
