Wet or Dry, it's Still Heat

What I like about humidity:
  • Lucy's curls
  • no dry skin
  • soft air
What I hate about humidity:
  • 90 degrees, 60% humidity IN. THE. HOUSE.
  • That's right. The air conditioner is broken and no one can fix it until Friday.
  • In six days.
  • I can't even think about making dinner. What can I make that doesn't involve cooking of any kind?

Sandwiches. 'Til Friday. That's about it. Or ice cream. That's good too! I miss the humid curls my boys get, here it's just dry frizz.

Sounds miserable. When I don't want to heat things up, I make chicken salad sandwiches (with canned chicken) or salads using pre-cooked chicken. Good luck!

Oh my. HOT. I love that you can find the good, even in wet, sticky air! As for what to cook, when we lived in Arizona, we didn't dare turn on the oven in the summer, so I used the crockpot or barbecued outside. Good luck to you! I hope you will have cool air soon!
