Albion Basin has never looked so good to us. The girls were master hikers, in spite of Anna's little touch of the stomach flu. It's hard to see below, but Daisy picked up most of the dirt along the trail. She looked like Pig Pen from Peanuts; you know, the kid who's always in a dust cloud. I had no idea a child could get that dirty in real life.
We liked This is the Place State Park so well we went twice. I love this view of the valley and the mountains on the east bench.
We also got to see a lot of friends on this trip. Suzanne and her girls made a huge effort to see us not once, but twice, and then I got to see her again with a book club party. We have been friends now for nearly 25 years and I still think she's the greatest!
Andrea and her boys met us at Thanksgiving Point for a morning of fun. It was great to see her again and to meet her boys in person. They are so cute and Andrea is a fantastic mom.
We saw so many other friends, some of whom made a serious effort to get together, and I really appreciate it. You are all wonderful!

What a great blog! Cute pics. I LOVE how dirty Daisy got - every day I feel that way with Luke.
