That's right. Craft supplies. Just the words make me want to hide under a rock because they are so foreign to me.
But my Family Fun magazine said that the crafts were easy.
The first day we made bottle cap magnets. The craft store doesn't sell bottle caps. But we live in Wisconsin, the beer capitol of the world. Kelly popped into a bar on the way home from work (hmm, that sounds worse than I mean it) and asked for a few. I wanted about 10; I got about 100. The projects were cute, but no photos. Sorry.
Day two was paper baskets. They looked so cute in the magazine.
We folded paper into dozens of thin strips.
That was the easy part, as it turned out.The weaving, not so much.
Fortunately, this project required no craft supplies and we were all happy to recycle the entire project.
