Tuesday consisted mostly of sick Lucy. As the day progressed, she got sicker and sicker. I finally took her in after dinner. Her temperature was 104.5 and she hadn't eaten anything in two days, so she weighed 23 pounds (way too skinny for a two and a half year-old). After testing negative for influenza (whew!) the doctor sent us to the hospital for a chest x-ray. Poor little Lucy was so listless and lethargic that she couldn't even enjoy the similarities to her most favorite book, "Curious George Goes to the Hospital." Sure enough, there was pneumonia in her lungs, so the day ended with a good dose of augmentin and lots of promises for better spring break days later this week.

Spring Break, Day 2
Looks much the same as the day before. Lots of snow, still no melting.

Oh dear Amy. My 2 1/2 yr old only weighs 23 lbs when she isn't sick . . . Sorry you have sick kids during Spring Break!
