First Ride

Our little Anna is growing up.  We really are not too excited for her progress, as we fear the unknown with this child.  She is the one who has broken her nose twice; once while doing a full swan dive from the staircase. She is also know for getting stuck in trees and not being able to get down and hanging upside down on the swing set in between the swings while her sisters are swinging.

However, there are a few moments that make you excited for her.  This week we encountered one of those.  She has been wanting to keep up with Lizzie and the other neighbor kids on their bikes for sooo long.  This week, after much persuasion from a four year old, off came the training wheels.

After notifying the ER that we would be visiting shortly, and then finding the insurance card, Anna strapped on her helmet and saddled up.  Thinking this would be a painful experience for both child and mother, each prepared mentally.  However, as you can see in the video below, there were no broken bones (yet) and both mother and child still have their sanity.

Way to go Anna!
