Retraction

When I was in college, I took a class on female mystery writers.  We read a mystery novel every week and by the end of the quarter (hah - quarters; that dates me, doesn't it) I was convinced that I was being followed everywhere I went.  I couldn't be alone in the house and took different routes home from school, just in case.

Well, after thinking about it and talking it over with Kelly and my sister, Grace, I have decided that I was a bit hasty in going private.  The fact is, I love blog surfing.  In the last few weeks, thanks to some old friends who just started blogging, I have been able to find lots of people I have been wondering about.  So in the interest of equity (with which, being an oldest child, I am always concerned) it just doesn't seem quite right to remove myself from the blogging link network.  At least not yet...

Plus, I recognized that I'm in the middle of another mystery series which I am totally loving (see my Goodreads link) and might possibly be a bit paranoid like I was during that class in college.

And so, good friends, blog on, and surf's up!

P.S. Thanks to Kelly for the post below and the video editing.  He is mastering the Mac and its programs...so I don't have to.

hooray! i'm glad you are not going private. for some reason, i rarely visit the password protected blogs. i just received a way random comment from some portuguese blogger who could barely write in english. go figure. i don't know why he/she would be interested in the life of a utah valley girl.

Last night J.D. and I were recalling the hilarious incident at Maggie Moos all those years ago with you guys when we got high centered on the parking strip. We laughed so hard we couldn't breath. Then we wished we could be your neighbors. Keep us on your blog invite list. We don't have a blog of our own - we are still e-mail folks. We love seeing your family and knowing what you are up to.

Hey Amy! About the gardening, Josh and my Dad built the boxes for me in March. We used the plastic decking material that you can buy at Home Depot. We have major termite problems in AZ so we avoided real wood. They had to hold it together with metal brackets and decking screws to get it to hold together, just simply nailing it was a disaster. I love the sq. ft. gardening though because our soil is so crummy. It is working beautifully! I follow lots of the directions in the book, but I also temper his advice with area-specific advice from some books that I bought through the U of A extension office. Good luck!

Hey Amy! Maybe it's an Engar jean. Whever I hear about a new disease I immediately "come down with the symptoms." Just call me Rachel the hypochondriac.
