Look how long Lizzie's and Anna's hair was! Lizzie wanted to grow hers out but as it got longer she got frustrated that I wouldn't let her leave it down all day. A friend who cuts hair told me that because of Anna's awful cowlicks (thank you, Kelly) she needed to keep her hair long. So day after day I struggled to braid, ponytail, pigtail, brush, and keep it out of her face. It ate up a huge chunk of every morning and by noon Anna looked like I hadn't combed her hair in weeks. I was stressed out nearly every day over hair that wasn't even my own. So imagine my delight when they both announced that they were ready to cut their hair. I couldn't get them to the salon fast enough.
Here is the final result. I love their short hair. I don't have to do hair anymore except for a quick "grabbie" on Anna. Lizzie has a fabulous cowlick in the front of her hairline that keeps the hair off her face without any effort. As you can see, now Daisy has the longest hair in the family!
