Next was Lizzie's friends party. We did it at the YMCA and even though it was our first off-site birthday party, it was kind of like being at home because it is where I work. We had 10 girls and turned them loose in the gymnastics center to play on all the equipment. It was mostly her Brownie Troop so it was very easy and all the girls were so well-behaved (thank goodness, because rowdy kids in a gym is not a good combination). Lizzie had a great time and frankly, so did we. Kelly threw all the kids into the foam pit, jumped in himself, and started a foam fight. Lovely.

The only thing we forgot was a candle to put on the cake (I thought I was doing well to remember a cake, plates, napkins, and a knife to cut it) so Lizzie was a trooper and blew out an invisible candle. That means that her wish will definitely come true.

And now I'm totally birthday-ed out. By the time my day came, I wanted to spend the day catching up from all the other birthdays. It was so fun to have mom here for part of the day and then for dinner we had leftovers...no cake...and a quiet evening. Ahhh.

Happy Birthday Lizzie and Happy Birthday Amy! I don't think there is much better than a quiet birthday just to relax. I hope you had a great one!
