When they're cute...

The other night, after many unsuccessful attempts to keep Daisy in her bed, we checked on them and discovered that Anna had taken matters into her own hands and climbed into Daisy's bed with her.  My mom told me once that it's important to check on your sleeping children, especially after a hard day, to remember how cute they are.  This did it for us.
Yesterday was picture day at school.  Lizzie and Anna were super excited to wear their new sweater vests that Grammy made for them.

Thanks, Mom, for sending them so quickly.  The note reminded Lizzie that she picked the yarn for hers, and Anna helped knit a few stitches on hers.  I told them that those cozy sweaters were like a hug from Grammy whenever they wore them.  They didn't want to take them off.

Those sweaters are great! I really want to learn to knit. It may be awhile before I can do a sweater though! And I so know what you mean about needing those little fast asleep reminders of how sweet they are. I love that Anna is such a great sister!

A. I can't believe you are wearing sweaters right now. I can only dream...
B. I can't believe the flash of your camera doesn't make your children sit straight up in bed screaming from their ensuing blindness and shock from fear that there had been a nuclear explosion in their bedroom.
C. Love the new leather couch.

Amy, I've missed your blog! I've hadn't been blogging as much lately, or checking others blogs for that matter, but I am back, and I love your posts! Sending hugs from Washington!
