Every Little Thing She Does...

We are getting so used to Lucy walking that I forget that in our families' minds, she is still just crawling because that's what she did the last time anyone saw her. We did the same thing by referring to cousin Annie as "Baby Annie" until she was three and a half.
This is my first attempt at using iMovie myself (and by myself I mean that I was at the keyboard yelling to the other room, "Kelly, what is it asking me to do now?") and I am quite proud of my mad editing skillz.

I realize that some of my friends have their own walking babies and I hope that no one feels any obligation to watch the video of my little stick figure of a child toddling around. I am finding that because Lucy is our last, I am working harder to capture every moment. This is a good thing for Lucy ("Yes, I have to take a picture. These are her first green grapes!"), but not so great for the other girls, especially the middle two ("Yeah, yeah, nice back flip off the swings, but come look at Lucy smile.")

It's also nice to watch this video to remember that only a few weeks ago it was warm enough for the baby to walk around in just a diaper and for Anna to be in a tank top. Fall has definitely hit us; I know because instead of buying watermelon at the store, I bought squash. And tapioca pudding. But not to eat together. Tapioca pudding is best enjoyed warm, at the end of the day, while wearing pajamas.

What are your favorite pajama foods? I'm always looking for good ones. Kelly likes pretzels, but they give me the hiccups. Please give me suggestions in the comment box. Plus, I love hearing from friends, especially when it starts getting cold. It's okay to feel a little cold with friends close by.

We always had popcorn on Sunday night in our pj's. Does the fact that I remember watching "Murder, She Wrote" date me? :)

Embracing those little Lucy moments is wonderful, although walking isn't really a little moment, that's huge! Good for her! Fall has hit us too (although we do get a strange summery day from time to time still). I love anything with pumpkin in it when it starts to get cold, soup, dessert bars, cookies, pie, anything as long as it has pumpkin and pumpkin complementary spices. And apples with carmel dip, at no other time of the year is this in the least bit tempting, but as the cool weather settles in...yum!

Lucy looks like she just walked off the plane from Africa. Just sayin...
We tend to enjoy popcorn and raspberry hurricanes in our PJs, oh, and toast. Toast with hot milk. Yum.

Toast and hot milk, Grace? How old are you??? Do you put the toast IN the milk?

Lucy is such a cutie! It's funny how when babies start walking they become toddlers instead of babies. I can't think of a great night time snack. You're lucky because you have the kind of metabolism where you can have night time snacks and still look awesome!
