The new stuff was supposed to be a Christmas present, delivered at the end of December. Yes, that was 4 weeks ago. Due to a problem with the manufacturer, my new washer and dryer were delivered on Tuesday. And I have learned something about myself. I don't like new things. I'm afraid that I'll break them. I like my comfortable old stuff. This is why I hate parting with old running shoes, totaled cars, and leaky washers.
Don't get me wrong: I love the new ones, but I don't know what to do with all those BUTTONS yet. My favorite features are the windows (better the YouTube!) and the jaunty tune they play when a load is finished. I'm sure that once I see how they affect our power bills and water usage, I'll like them even more. And when the life of my old clothes is extended and I can pull those old Girbaud jeans out of storage when the '90's styles come back, I'll be downright giddy.
Here is the reason that it is imperative to have a good washer and dryer:

Ahh, self expression.

You don't really still have your Girbauds do you?
I love you blog and your family. You look like you have so much fun, and I think you are a wonderful mom. I would love to come spend a day at your house. A swing room? That is so up my alley. Coolest parents ever.

Love the washer and dryer. You will also use HALF the detergent. New is NICE!!!
Besides Daisy's striking outfit, I noticed her THUMB!!!!!!! Holy cow--never saw such a chappy, red appendage. But what to do? xoxoxo
Just looked at that thumb too. All I can say is OUCH!! Can't believe that isn't enough to make her quit right there. :) Can't believe she is 4!!!
