We had such a great visit from cousins we don't see very often. My grandmother's cousin, Gretchen, came to visit her daughter Marianne, who lives in Madison. While Marianne was at a yoga class here, they stopped by for the evening. This is Marianne's daughter Katherine, who is just a week older than Daisy. We turned the girls loose in the basement and once they warmed up to each other and to Lizzie and Anna (who were expertly mothering Katherine), they played like old friends. I loved catching up with Gretchen, who is one of my favorite people in the world, hearing about her kids, and seeing her wonderful knitting projects. It almost makes me want to start knitting again, but not quite yet. We feel so lucky that they were able to fit Appleton and the Stephensons into their busy trip! Thanks for coming, Jackson/Woodbury family!
