You have been cooped up for six months, your six year-old is sick with what may or may not be strep for the second time this month, your four year-old is being punished in her room where she is screaming loud enough for the neighbors to hear, and your baby is changing her own diaper. I'd like to run screaming from the house for a little while. Thank goodness for maternal instincts that won't let me leave. That, and the fact that I can't find the car keys and it's still too cold to be outside very long.
Deep breathing and chocolate.

Why is it that the end of Winter drags on for what seems like six months? And why is it that every time I take my girls to the doctor (they've been sick or have had pink eye for the past month) the nurses always say "Your mommy can't wait for spring!". I don't know about you but I always seem to think 45 to 50 degrees is warm enough to play outside at this time of the year. Good luck! Sorry I'm only able to commiserate on this subject and less likely to be a cheerleader. Oh and sorry for the super long comment. :)
I say-- get some duct tape for Daisy's diaper and a coke for yourself. That should help a little. :) I can't believe you are enduring sub-twenties. You are a saint.
Read Glass Castle and it will make you feel like the best mom in the whole world, even on your worst days. Just tell Kelly to pick up a bag of Starburst jelly beans on the way home!!!
Thank goodness for chocolate! It's the only way I survive being out-numbered all day. You know, there are lots of homes for sale by us!
