I Love Grandma!
Continuing our catch-up blogging, we were so lucky to get Grandma for a week. We love it when she comes to visit because we get her all to ourselves. Sorry, cousins!
"Thank you for visiting the bank today. Here are four suckers, all the same color."
When we saw what those blue suckers did to tongues, I was afraid that we'd have Smurfs the next day. I was relieved when, five hours later, the color had faded to a light blue shade.
It is truly the good life when you get to hang out with Grandma in pajamas.We dragged Grandma all over creation in what must have seemed like a whirlwind to her, but a normal week for us. We celebrated her visit with dinner at A&W and the movie "UP."
I don't often talk about movies on the blog, mostly because we don't see many, but I have to talk for a moment about "Up." Kelly and I absolutely LOVED this movie. It was good for the kids, but so much better for us grownups. I love movies that make you feel better for having seen them, and this was one. Please, go see this movie and tell me what you think of it. Unfortunately, no one else I know has seen it so I can't talk about it with anyone.

Grandma, we loved your visit and can't wait to see you again. Thanks for going along with all our craziness and for loving us in spite of all the shortcomings that only someone who lives with us gets to see.
