When we said that we wanted to camp this summer, we didn't necessarily mean in the Minneapolis airport, but that's what we ended up doing. On our way to Salt Lake we missed our connecting flight, the last flight to SLC of the night. Typically, the airline would put us in a hotel for the night, but there were no hotel rooms available in the entire city. So instead they handed us four cots, three blankets, five pillows and some vouchers for breakfast. As you can see from the picture, the girls had a hard time settling down. I am so glad that we thought to pack their PJ's in the carry-on. From now on when we fly, I will remember to pack an emergency 24-hour kit with clean underwear, toothbrushes, and contact solution. Oh, and some earplugs to block out the CNN broadcast that doesn't stop all night.
We were so glad to finally get to Salt Lake!

This is one classic picture!! I love how excited Anna is and how non-plussed Daisy is. We will always remember your night in Minneapolis. Too funny, and I'm so glad you got a picture to remember it. xoxo
Miss you already...
