The truth is, Kelly and I can't get enough of our girls, especially when they are laughing. We can't imagine that life can get any better than this.
Daisy loves books. She will read them to herself, but sometimes she just likes a lap and an audience. Lizzie loves to read and since these moments when both girls are holding still are few and far between, I was lucky to catch it on camera. Daisy loves bedtime. She is almost always willing to go. She loves her PJ's, especially these polka-dotty ones. I think she looks like she's out of The Cat in the Hat, and I love them, too. She is starting to talk a bit, using mostly "Yeah" to communicate.
Here are a few of her other words: swing, me, up high, bappy (her softie blanket), Bubba (the neighbor's dog), Mama, Ammy (Grammy), chip (usually Cheetos), puppy, drink, bite (as in "give me a..."), sorry, and Aaaaaaaa (Anna).
Here are the words we're working on: please, Daddy, Lizzie, more, spoon, cat, Daisy, thank you, and tree.
For the past few days, Daisy has switched from singing "Twinkle, Twinkle" to "I Am a Child of God." She kind of hums, but the tune is definitely recognizable. She practices in bed after she wakes up and before we go in to get her. Sometimes we gather around her door to listen to her. It is so funny to hear such a little thing singing so well.

I wish I could be there to hear her sing. You can have a little singing trio! "Sisters, sisters..."
What a smile--I love it!!! XOXO
These are the moments that make all the frustrating parts so worth it! I love it!
